Living in Mississippi as a child, snow was something of a mythical substance. Every other winter a few flakes would magically fall from the sky and cover the ground for a day or two. When these snow days happened, there was great excitement, especially at my house where my mother would stay up all night watching the big flakes fall from the sky.

Playing with paradoxes and mixing-up real environments with surreal interferences is the most fun during my ordinary day life. When I walk down the street, I shoot anything that catches my attention, creating an immense archive of photos. The creation of a new dreamscape happens at a later stage in the concept: thanks to my pool of images, the editing process is then almost immediate through the use of iPhone apps like PsTouch, iDesign, Superimpose, MatterApp e Mextures.

Getting the angle and perspective for a photo just right can sometimes be very tricky, but these crazy photographers don't mind – when it comes to taking the perfect shot, they will do whatever it takes. The acts of devotion to their craft that some of the world's best photographers perform can be truly outstanding.
